Brodies Middle East LLP (BMEL) has received a 'Spotlight' ranking from Chambers & Partners, a leading global legal directory, less than two years after it opened the doors to its first office in the UAE.
Based in Abu Dhabi since 2023, the Brodies Middle East team has been noted for its significant expertise in the oil and gas space, representing operators in the procurement, construction and acquisition of oil fields across the region. The ranking was awarded in the 'Energy & Natural Resources: Oil & Gas – Middle East – wide' category.
According to Chambers & Partners, the ranking serves to highlight a select practice with a specific focus.
Greg May, partner, BMEL said: "We are pleased to have received this ranking from the Chambers & Partners so soon after opening our first office in the region. It demonstrates that the work we carry out for our clients is of a sufficiently high calibre to be considered among the best in the energy sector within the Middle East. The recognition is testament to the commitment of our team in the first full year since we launched, and provides a solid platform for our future work here".
With particular expertise in the energy sector, BMEL's dedicated Abu Dhabi-based team of lawyers combine their deep sector knowledge of the oil and gas and renewables sectors with significant in-house experience working with and for major oil and gas operators and service companies in the Middle East, the UK and internationally.
